Choose Your Own Adventure 

We will break down the process into manageable steps. Helping you achieve CLARITY about WHERE you’re going and HOW to get there.

Create Roughs

You will start working with your chosen theme, locking down your concept and composition. You will create a set of black and white roughs as line art or sketches. Expanding your concept and developing into a cohesive set. 

With your concept in place, you will have the freedom to relax into the next part of the process. Allowing you to create freely whilst working within set parameters in anticipation of adding colour.

Create Colour 

You will strengthen your standards and push out of your comfort zone. Gaining key insights into how I recommend you develop your portfolio in future. With your concept now locked in, you will create with intention and move your roughs into a cohesive set of single illustrations in colour (or placements).

Time to implement 

One week to continue work and the areas you need to focus on. This extra time will help to give you a solid foundation for the next phases. Deep creative work takes time - this breather will support your process moving forward.

Create Pattern 

You will expand your colour illustrations to create a set of artwork which includes accompanying patterns. You will learn how to create fully cohesive artwork giving you confidence to work in a way which is professionally on point.

I'm so glad you asked. I am committed to offering a Scholarship Programme in 2025. I'm not able to offer any scholarships in 2024.

I will not be repeating this version of the experience. Enrolment is only open once a year. Your Creative Gold 2024 is a completely unique experience. That's what makes it so special.

This course will work for you too. All artists are welcome and you especially don’t need to have had any formal art training. The course is structured to break the process down into manageable steps. My focus is on inspiring your creativity in an impactful way to reduce overwhelm and making the path clearer for you in future. You are in the right place to learn how to approach your work in a way which works from the very start.  

The course material will be delivered in a combination of downloadable support material and live sessions. All lives will be recorded and uploaded to the course platform within 24 hours including live laser coaching, Pure Gold interviews with Jehane Ltd Artists, and live sessions with my Special Guests.

Yes, the Private Community will continue beyond the course. I have prepared on-going monthly challenges in the Community taking you all the way up to the end of the year. You will automatically progress to join my Your Creative Gold Alumni Community in January 2025 so you can keep the connections alive.

You will have access to Your Creative Gold 2024 for the lifetime of the course which is guaranteed for at least the next 5 years. All content will be available to download with plenty of notice and access may well also extend beyond this five year period.

The aim will be to complete one set of cohesive artwork by the end of the seven weeks.  The time needed per week will vary. It will depend on your working process but I would suggest this as a general guide;

WEEK 1: Intensive on your thinking time without creating any art. 
WEEK 2: will require 2-3 hours per day. 
WEEKS 3 & 5: more intensive with approx 3-4 hours per day.
WEEKS 4 & 6: time will vary as these are Implementation Weeks. 
WEEK 7: will depend on how much you will want to finesse from previous weeks with the guideline of 1 hour per day.

I cannot guarantee individual feedback. I will be running laser coaching where I will give live feedback to selected artists individually with the wider group listening in. My focus will be on addressing both individual and general points which will help everyone. I will give feedback to different artists each session. The time will be constructive, purposeful, and time-efficient. Each live feedback session will be recorded.

A full course calendar with schedule will be available in the Welcome module. There will be a total of x19 lives with Jehane over the course. Starting on the 12th February 2024 for seven weeks. The 1 hour lives will take place each Monday and Wednesday at 6pm and Fridays at 3pm - all times are London GMT. The Friday sessions will include an optional 40 minute breakout room for you to connect with your fellow artists in a smaller group.

You don’t need any technical experience. I welcome artists working in all media. It’s not necessary to use any digital software to take this course. I always love to see hand-drawn or hand-painted art.

This will depend on the nature of your working process. Many of my artists work by hand and only use digital software to clean up artwork. If you work in an analogue way, a high-quality scan will often be enough for a wide variety of product categories. It’s highly recommended to have a basic knowledge of Photoshop to clean up your files. Presenting clients with editable layered files is a bonus and especially useful if you are aiming to license your designs for textiles. Nowadays there is a wonderful choice of online tutorials to learn these skills.

The focus of this course will be to create patterns which have an indication of repeat only. You will not be asked to put your designs into repeat. Your focus will be on concepts, drawing, and colour with the technical aspects of lesser importance. The course will include a pdf resource showing how to put a design into repeat using Photoshop to support your technical learning independently after Your Creative Gold.

The learning you will gain will immediately impact and improve your pitches.  The focus of this course is to light up your portfolio and impact how you present in a way which will strengthen the quality of what you submit to art directors and agents. You will be learning how to present and develop artwork in a way which art directors and agents love to see with a focus on communicating your creative voice. We will not otherwise be covering the mechanics of pitching outside of this scope.

It’s natural to feel a bit overwhelmed when learning something new. It’s also where things get exciting! I’m sure you can do this. With my proven framework and our supportive community, we've got you. To help reduce the overwhelm, I will be recommending a minimum amount of work each week as well as the ideal amount to make it easier. Progress is made one step at a time and I have structured the course carefully to support you. I believe in you. You've got this.

My all-important 'All About You' workbook is waiting for you in the Welcome Module with a host of other resources to support you before we begin. The course content will be released week by week. I do this to reduce overwhelm and enable you to focus your creativity in the right place, at the right time.

There are three payment options for the 2024 Your Creative Gold Course:

1) A one-time payment of £1197

2) A 6 month payment plan of £229 per month.

3) A 12 month payment plan of £119 per month.

If you choose the payment plan, your first payment will be made the day you enrolled, with the following payments automatically made on the same day of the month for subsequent months.
